Journal of Teaching and Learning for Graduate Employability

The Journal of Teaching and Learning for Graduate Employability is a scholarly forum for the dissemination of research and evidence-based practice in teaching and learning for graduate employability. 

The Journal is currently:

The focus of the Journal includes:

  • Graduate employability policy and success measures;
  • Graduate employability and the future of work in the digital economy;
  • Graduate employability and student success;
  • Graduate employability, educators and the academy.

We welcome the submission of

  • scholarly papers (up to 8000 words for double-blind refereeing)

             -research-based evaluations of innovations and practices;

             -investigations of the literature in the field, including new        
              theoretical approaches; and

  • practitioner reflections (up to 2000 words for editorial review).

We particularly encourage papers co-authored by education providers, employers and industry bodies, graduates and students.

All papers undergo a timely, constructive, confidential and impartial double blind review process and as an on line Journal we provide continuous publication guaranteeing currency for authors and readers.

2020 Special Edition: Micro-credentials and qualifications for future work and learning

The editorial board announces a special issue, to be published in 2020, related to graduate employability and the future of work in the digital economy.

The Special Issue Editors Emeritus Professor Beverley Oliver, Dr Trina Jorre de St Jorre and Dr Beatrice Tucker welcome guest editors:

  • Professor Andrea Bialocerkowski

Submissions are now being accepted. Note that, as for all editions of this journal, continuous publication will occur. This means that:

  • Submissions may be made anytime between 1 Feb and 1 Oct 2020.
  • Submissions will be reviewed in the order in which they are received.
  • Accepted articles will be prepared for publication promptly between May and Dec 2020.

Authors are strongly encouraged to submit an expression of interest at their earliest convenience, indicating their topic and intended date of submission.

Date for submissions: 1 Feb until the 1 October 2020

Expected publication date: May 2020 – Dec 2020
