The Library seeks open access publishing partnerships with University Faculties, research groups and others affiliated with the University. We provide a platform and system for journal management and publishing; as well as selected editorial, production and technical advisory services.

    Papers: Explorations into Children’s Literature is the premier Australasian scholarly journal in children’s literature. It publishes research on all aspects of children’s and young adult literature – canonical and contemporary – and encourages work drawing upon theoretical, analytical or practice-led methodologies.

    Le Leader Humanitaire/Humanitarian Leader, une publication bilingue en anglais et français, se veut être un porte-parole indépendant dans le secteur humanitaire. Nous présentons des récits qui remettent en question nos hypothèses collectives et partageons des concepts qui contribuent à rendre l’aide humanitaire plus juste, équitable et efficace. 

    Parmi les auteurs de notre journal, nous comptons des chercheurs, des militants bénévoles et des professionnels de l’humanitaire – Toute personne ayant quelque chose à dire sur la façon dont l’aide humanitaire pourrait et devrait être améliorer. 

    La journal offre une plateforme pour la recherche, non-revue par les pairs, et permet aux auteurs de confronter leurs idées et connaissances dans un cadre académique accessible. Tous les articles sont publiés par openjournals@Deakin.   

    Les articles doivent traiter d’une manière générale du thème du leadership humanitaire et promouvoir la discussion et le dialogue dans le secteur. 

    Lancé en août 2019, le Centre de Leadership Humanitaire (CHL) publiera cette année 10 articles disponible en ligne, avec une édition annuelle au mois de décembre disponible en ligne et en version papier.

  • TESOL in Context

    TESOL in Context is the peer-reviewed publication of the Australian Council for TESOL Associations (ACTA) for teachers, researchers and others interested in TESOL within Australia and internationally. Normally two issues are produced each year. TESOL in Context is an internationally refereed journal with a wide target audience, both national and international. Readership includes TESOL / EAL professionals working in all sectors of education; universities, primary and secondary schooling, early childhood settings, adult migrant programs, vocational training, ELICOS and TESOL teacher education, both in Australia and internationally. Articles published in TESOL in Context typically examine the nexus between theory and practice.

    The aims of TESOL in Context are to provide professionals in the field with insights into TESOL issues in Australia and internationally
and contribute to the development of classroom expertise through dissemination of current research and thinking around TESOL.

    The Journal of Citizenship and Globalisation Studies (JCGS) has ceased publication as an active journal and cannot accept new submissions. Past issues of JCGS will continue to be available on this website. 

    JCGS was published from 2017 to 2019. It was interested in the complex and often contradictory meanings of citizenship, social inclusion and globalisation at the local, national and transnational levels.

    The Asia Pacific Humanitarian Leadership Conference was the first event of its kind in the region to debate and discuss some of the most critical challenges and opportunities for the humanitarian system in the region and globally.

    The Asia Pacific Humanitarian Leadership Conference Proceedings is a peer reviewed academic publication that explores how leadership in the humanitarian sector can be best developed, and raise the level of humanitarian engagement in policy development and debate, through academic and practitioner lenses.

  • Deakin Papers on International Business Economics

    Deakin Papers on International Business Economics (DPIBE) was an online academic journal published between 2008 and 2015. It was established primarily for students and aimed to publish short articles on various aspects of applying theories of economics and political economy to the international business environment.
