We are delighted to announce the appointment of our new editorial team for the 2026–2028 term (Team 1) at TESOL in Context - Dr Hao Tran (The University of Queensland), Xiaoxiao Kong (University of Melbourne), Dan Zhou (Monash University), and Dr Shengkai Yin (Federation University Australia). We warmly welcome our incoming editors, who have kindly accepted our invitation to serve the journal and contribute their expertise to this next chapter of its development. Their appointments commence at the beginning of 2026.

Hao, Xiaoxiao, Dan, and Shengkai bring a wealth of scholarly experience, diverse perspectives, and a strong commitment to advancing research and practice in TESOL and EAL/D. We are confident that their leadership and insight will further strengthen the quality, reach, and impact of the journal, and continue to provide our readers with rigorous, thoughtful, and innovative scholarship.

They will join our dedicated continuing editorial team Dr Ward Peeters, Dr David Wei Dai, and Dr Sal Consoli. Together, the two teams will work collaboratively to maintain and elevate the standards of TESOL in Context, ensuring it remains a leading, Scopus-indexed, diamond open-access, refereed journal with a growing international presence.
